This trip tour starts from Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. It is at Ba Dinh Square and is one of Hanoi's most frequented attractions. It is the ultimate resting place of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam's most iconic and popular leader, known to his people as Uncle Ho. In a glass case at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in central Hanoi, his body is preserved. Next moving towards the Presidential Palace. The three-story, mustard yellow building features 30 rooms designed in French colonial architectural style, an orchard, carp pond, and a 91-meter long boulevard surrounded by lush gardens. Next moving towards Ho Chi Minh Museum. It is dedicated to the life and legacy of North Vietnam's former president, and the fight for freedom in Vietnam. This museum is an excellent place to learn more about Ho Chi Minh 's role in securing Vietnam 's independence. Next moving towards the One pillar pagoda. It is said to represent a lotus flower growing out of the water, rising from one pillar in the center of an elegantly square shaped lotus pond. The One Pillar Pagoda was built between 1028 and 1054 during the reign of Emperor Ly Thai Tong of the Ly Dynasty and is one of the most iconic temples in Vietnam. Lastly moving towards the Temple of Literature. The literature temple is sometimes cited as one of the most picturesque tourist attractions in Hanoi. Originally built in 1070 as a university dedicated to Confucius, scholars, and sages, the building is extremely well preserved and is a superb example of Vietnamese architecture in traditional style.
